Wow I am really behind. We have been doing so many fun things lately. Here is what we have been up to. (warning: picture overload!)

For some reason, Chase decided to bring a scalpel home from work and definately went overboard on our pumpkin. Don't ask me why he thought we should "shave" our cute little bat.

We had a fun time going to the polls together and voting. It was a neat opportunity

For my Christmas present, Brandon and Katie took Chase and I to the Coldplay Concert! It was the BEST concert I have ever been to. They are amazing and there new album is the BEST. They are one of my favorite bands and so this was SO exciting for me. We were in the 23rd row! I was on the aisle and Chris Martin walked right by me and I touched his arm :) He was really sweaty, so I wiped it on Chase haha Thanks again Brandon and Katie!!! This was the best ever!

We went on a little picnic date. It was perfect weather outside and so we wanted to take advantage of that.

We had such a great Thanksgiving! We ate dinner at the Corley's and had dessert with my family. It worked out really good and it was a great first Thanksgiving together :)

Ashley and Ryan had a baby boy in October and he is the cutest little guy. They named him Slade Ryan Stahle. I will post some pictures of him later. Congratulations Ashley & Ryan! We love Sladeraide!

Hard Working Man

I really am not that good about updating our blog. I will try harder though. Some of you may know, but Chase got a new job in July. He works for the Donor Network of Arizona (he removes hearts, kidneys, veins, bones, arteries, takes skin, etc.) Yes, I find his job absolutely disgusting. He has some very nasty stories to tell. However, Chase LOVES it. He looks at it as seeing that he is helping save lives. It is great experience for his future plans of medical school. What better way to learn, than looking and operating on the human body. Anyways, Chase works full time and goes to school full time. I don't know how he does it. I admire his hard work so much. Yesterday morning, he was paged to come into work at 6:30 am. They ahd a case in Havasu (4 hours away) and they were going to be taking a lot from the body. (when they are taking a lot, it means they will be operating for about 8 hours) I knew this meant I would not see him all day. So, he left at 6:30 am and did not return home until 1:00 am early the next morning. I miss him so much when this happens. Thankfully, it has only happened 3 times so far. Usually, they have cases here in Phoenix but on occasion, they have to travel. There work covers all of Arizona. Anyways, he got home around 1 this morning and woke up at 6 to get ready for school. I don't know how he does it. I love him SO much and really admire and appreciate all of his hard work!

A Wicked weekend in Cali

We had such a fun time in California with Chase's family. It was so nice to spend quality time together! Here are pictures of the trip

I made Chase ride Alice in Wonderland with me :)

We were able to eat at the restaurant in Pirates of the Carribean. The food was so good and it was such a neat atmosphere.

This guy talked and acted just like Jack Sparrow. I think he looks pretty close to Johnny Depp.

On Saturday we were so lucky and went to see WICKED! It was amazing. The Pantages Theatre was so ornate and really neat! Chase was not looking forward to seeing it but we both ended up loving it and can't wait for it to come to Gammage this summer.

Thank you so much Mom and Dad Corley for such a fun weekend! I am so lucky to have married into this family! They really are the best in-laws out there!

1.) Getting to spend ALL weekend with my sweetheart, my best friend, my Chasers :)
2.) Going to Disneyland
3.) Going to see Wicked (our very first broadway play)
4.) Cooler weather
5.) Going to the beach
6.) 6 hours of cuddling in the car (we aren't driving)
7.) Spending time with my in-laws, they are the best ever!
8.) Time away from work
9.) Eating out
10.) Relaxing!

A few reasons why I love my husband...

I woke up a few days ago to this message on the bathroom mirror :) It was a nice way to start off my morning. Chase does the cutest things for me.

This picture makes me laugh! When I lived at home with my parents, I would always get ready for the day with my sisters or mom to talk to. I love having someone to talk to while I am getting ready. I am always yelling to Chase as he is playing on his laptop in the other room while I am getting ready. He always ends up coming in a few times but I always beg him to sit on the toilet or the edge of the bath tub so I will have someone to talk to. Well, one day I was talking to him from the bathroom and he came rolling in there from the family room! So, he played his game in the bathroom why I was getting ready :) He is so sweet... but we laughed pretty hard about this!

Last week Chase's little brother, Spencer left on his mission. He is going to Tampa, Florida. We are so proud of him! We will miss him being around but we know he is doing the Lord's work. We love you Spence!

Fun Weekend and the 4th

A few weeks ago, both of our families were out of town. We usually spend a lot of time with them but I think this was the first weekend without seeing our families at all, since we have been married. We had such a fun time with one another! Chase came home and surprised me with Sprinkles Cupcakes! I LOVE cupcakes and had never had one before... they were DELICIOUS! It was the best surprise! Then we decided to go to As You Wish. It was so fun and it was Chase's first time doing that. He made me a jewerly box for my earrings and it turned out so cute! Then we went to lunch and then to see Hancock. I didn't like it but Chase thought it was very good. It was the most perfect day for us. The next day was the 4th of July and it was just the two of us. We had so much fun though! We had a little BBQ and swam at my parents house. My sisters dog Nixon, came swimming with us and LOVED Chase :) It was cute. The next day we went to Chandler Mall and walked around and then ate at Kona Grill. It was so much fun to spend some quality time with my husband and best friend :)

Much Needed Update!

Wow it has been months since we last updated our blog. We have been SO busy lately and I have been putting this off because there is so much to say. Well, Chase and I finally were married on May 16, 2008! It seemed like forever until the wedding and now we look back and can't believe we have been married for over a month! It really was the happiest day ever! We will never forget the feelings we had in temple. The whole day was perfect! I am so lucky to be sealed to such an amazing man! We went on our honeymoon to Disneyland for a week and had so much fun there! We went to the beach but it was really cold that day, so we didn't get in the water. It was so nice to spend so much time together and we had a lot of fun! Since we have been home our lives have been pretty busy. Everyday is so much fun and we are loving married life! It is the best! Here are some pictures of our wedding, honeymoon, and what we have been doing since then... enjoy! I am going to try better about updating our blog. We are headed to Lake Powell tomorrow and so I will post some pictures when we get back :) I am still trying to figure out how everything works on here so bare with me... I wanted all of our pictures in the reverse order but I am not going to redo it... I will get the hang of this sooner or later I promise! and I cut all of my hair off!!!

Its the little things that matter

I have been thinking a lot about how blessed my life is and how grateful I am to have found such an amazing guy. Chase is the most loving person I have ever met. He is the most selfless person and always puts others needs before his own. He treats me like a princess and reminds me everyday how much he loves me. Every single time I talk to him on the phone he always says "I love you" before hanging up. Even if he is really busy and tells me he will call me back. It is the little things like that that I am so thankful I have in my life. He cares so much about me and lets me know how special he thinks I am. He always opens the door for me even when I am driving. I have never met someone that is so loving and sincerely kind. He is such a caring person and a REALLY hardworker. Everytime we cuddle he always asks "are you comfortable" He is always asking if I need a drink or some candy (which I need quite often). He has never spoke unkindly to me or never raised his voice at me. He is the most patient person I know and he is very good at handling stressful situations (I dont handle them well at all so we balance each other out with this). His testimony is so strong and he makes me a better person. He always looks to the bright side of things and never lets anything get him down. Every night he sends me a goodnight text, even if we just finished our goodnight phone call. This means a lot to me. When we had only hung out 2 times I told him that I love texting people good night and I love when people do the same. Ever since then, he has never missed a night. I love that he is such a good listener and he can always make me feel better. I appreciate his willingness to do whatever he can for the wedding. He is such a great helper. He will always do what he says and make sure he does everything to the best of his ability. I really admire that about him. Last night I was having a hard time and feeling overloaded with things to get done for our wedding. He was such a great comfort and never got frustrated with me. He hates when I am stressed and so I am trying so hard not to let it catch up with me. However, last night it seemed impossible. I am so thankful that he gave me his shoulder to cry on and that he sat there and listened as I rambled on and on. He is perfect for me. I love him so much and feel so blessed to have my perfect man in my life! I love you Chase!

Easter

We had a fun first Easter together! I had sharing time in Primary that Sunday so I was a little stressed out. It went pretty good though and I was so happy when it was over. Then I was able to really enjoy our first Easter. We ate dinner at my parents house and Chase helped me make Easters cupcakes. He is really good at licking the beaters and bowl. When he is finished licking everything, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing left. He makes sure of that. It looks like the bowl has already been washed! It amazes me. Dinner was very good. We had a lot of family over at my house. My family keeps getting bigger everyday and I love it! Chase and I hid all the Easter eggs for the grandkids to hunt. It was so fun to see there faces and watch them hunt for the eggs. Dylan and Callie were so excited about it and would run as fast as there little legs would go to the next egg. It was funny. Then we went over the Chase's house for dessert. His family is also really big and so it makes things fun. He played some games of fuzball while I talked with his cousins. His mom gave me some really cute shorts in my Easter basket and I love them. That is a tradition in there family. I guess Easter also means a pair of new shorts for them :) It was such a fun day but I always dread Sundays because it means that Chase leaves for Tucson in the morning. I HATE monday, tuesday, and wednesday of every week now. I miss him so much while he is away at school but only 7 more weeks!!!!!!!!

ENGAGED :)

It's official... WE ARE ENGAGED!! May 16th is the big day! Chase and I are so excited and have been counting down for quite awhile now. On Friday, we went to the temple and were walking around. My dream has always been to ride in a horse-drawn carriage. We were walking by the pools at the temple and he said to me, "Chelsea, I want to make your dream come true. When we turn this corner, there will be a horse-drawn carriage waiting for us." And there it was! It was perfect. We went on an hour ride through downtown Main street and ended up at the Landmark Restaurant. The billboard said "Welcome Chase and Chelsea" It was so cute! Then we went to his neighborhood. There is a lake in the middle of it with stepping stones that lead to a dock. Each stepping stone had flower pedals and candles on it. The dock had flowers and candles everywhere with sparkling cider. He said a cute speech (although I don't remember it because I was really ansy the whole time). After I said yes, he pulled out a cake that said "will you marry me?" The whole night was amazing. He went above and beyond and went to so much work. It was such a perfect night and I will never forget it! I am so excited that we are officially engaged now! Now we have to finish all the wedding plans but it will be fun!
